It has been quite a while since I last posted. I have been so busy with teaching at Lincoln High School and doing Photography that I have not took the time to just stop and post on my personal blog. I am going to try and get better at this. I am going to definitely pick it up once little Gary's start coming.
So, lately Duke and Ally have been feeling left out. They thought they needed a blog post. Therefore, I thought I would share a short story about the pups at our house. We have two CrAzY, but fun English Bulldogs with personalities all there own. First, I would like you to meet our sweet little family. This photo took us about an hour to get, and the pups still aren’t looking at the camera. Instead Duke is looking at me like, “why do you keep running back and forth to the camera?” I want to play.” Ally is like, “can I please go home and go to bed.”
Meet Duke, the piglet. Duke is only a year old, but he is way bigger than Ally our four year old. He also, eats, poops, snorts, plays, and poots way harder, louder, and more often than Ally does. However, Duke is what keeps the house lively. Before Duke came along Ally slept 23 hours a day. Duke has cut that down to 20 hours a day because he is biting her leg or gnawing on her feet the other four hours. Duke is very ticklish too, it is quite hilarious when he is being tickled. He becomes disoriented and walking in crooked lines and snorting like a pig, words can not express how funny he is.
Meet Ally, the snoozer. Ally is our four year old English bulldog who sleeps constantly and pees like once a day. Ally was really a camel in another life. She would rather sleep than eat (However, if you say the T-word…treat…shhh she may hear you even in the deepest of sleep). Ally knows how to do high five, shake, sit, and sit up all because of her obsession with doggy treats. Every since Duke came along things have changed around the house though. Ally has always had a personality all her own, but the two of them together are a dynamic duo. She loves to get her booty scratched. She runs up to you and immediately turns around and starts shaking her booty and backing it up to your legs. English bulldogs do not have tails they get cut when they are puppies. It is so cute and funny to watch when they get excited and try to shake their tails instead their whole behind shakes.
Here is an example of the pups hearing the T-word!!!!
After Ally gets her treat, she goes straight to bed!
After Duke gets his treat he is ready to play, look at that mischievous face!
He is cRaZy I tell you! As I posted this video and played it he was running around the house barking and freaking out from hearing himself barking on the video. More posts to follow!
