Our Honeymoon

We finally booked our honeymoon and we are so excited.  We are going to Mexico and staying in the El Dorado Royal.  Our room is the infinity casita suites.  We will have our own private infinity pool on our balcony,  our own private outdoor shower, and a bed on our balcony.  Here is the link http://www.eldoradosparesorts.com/hotels/el_dorado_casitas/ and here are a few pictures.

Andrew, Dalton, and Kai

It was a pleasure photographing these three.  They were amazing and they did everything I asked.  Andrew and Dalton are bothers and Kai is their first cousin.  They are all so very handsome they made it very easy for me to capture wonderful photographs.

Mama’s Video

I thought it would be great to make my  a video to give my mother for my wedding.  I wanted to make something that captured me growing up , using the great things she taught me, and building my own family.  Let me know what you think.  If you were a mother would you like to have something like this for your daughter’s wedding?

We are getting the Lulakate dress Angela.  I went into Photoshop and edited the dress to see which way I want the colors.  Here is a picture of the different color styles.

Wedding Music

I have made a decision on most of my wedding music.  I am planning on everything being fun but still romantic.  I am always listening to music and thinking, that sounds like a great song for the wedding.  I love music and it just relaxes me and says the things I can’t say.

NEW CAR

Yesterday, October 13, 2010 my lovely fiancé and I decided to ride up to the Crown Nissan dealership in Birmingham.  We have been looking at the Nissan Maxima’s and we fell in love with them.  We came to the decision that we were going to sell my car and get a larger more luxurious car that me and Clark both would like to drive.  We went up there and began looking at the Maxima and drove it and fell in love.  Clark was dead set, we were not getting a car that day.  He said we may get one tomorrow, but definitely not today.  The dealer just kept dealing and dealing and it just kept getting better and better.  We both gave in and decided that it was an awesome deal.  I got a 2009 Maxima SV Sport Edition.  I absolutely love it!

I am truly blessed and I make sure that I do not forget to say Thank You and show my appreciation for blessing me with such an amazing family, friends, life, and the most amazing best friend and future husband in the entire world! Thank You Lord!

The Halekai III

We went to visit the beach house for the first time this past weekend October 2, 2010.  The house is absolutely beautiful and we can’t wait to see the inside.  We didn’t get to go inside because the people who were going to check out extended their stay.  Therefore, me and Donna my mother-in-law are going back up there on the 19th to go inside the house with our wedding planner, Gwen Bloch and our florist.  Here are a few pictures I took of the house when we visited.  Here is website for virtual tours and pictures http://www.meyerre.com/house/Halekai_III

Standing on the porch of the house next door, we are thinking of maybe renting it to for over flow.

The house next door it has 6 bedrooms and 6 baths sleeps 16.

Under the house we are thinking about setting the band up and the dance floor possibly underneath the house. We booked the band post coming soon.  They are called the 2nd Coming.
